Actor
Chris has been Acting professionally for over 20 years. In that time he has traversed all areas of the industry, playing a variety of roles and working with most of the leading Television platforms.
After graduating Manchester School of Theatre in 2004, Chris worked extensively in commercials, worldwide, often filming several back to back in a year.
His first Television role came in 2005 when he was cast alongside Tobias Menzies in HBO’s mega-budget series, ‘Rome’.
During this period he also shot a number of short films including the lead in the award-winning ‘Scarred’ produced by Anthony Fabian (Mrs Harris Goes to Paris).
After stepping away from the industry for a few years, when his daughter was born, Chris came back and worked steadily in TV and Theatre - taking guest roles on Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Doctors among others and playing the iconic role of ‘The Chorister’ in Doctor Who alongside Matt Smith.
Extensive work on the London fringe turned into understudying at The National Theatre in Polly Findlay’s production of ‘Rutherford and Son’ and then being cast in Francesca Martinez’s ground breaking play ‘All of Us’ directed by Ian Rickson (Jerusalem).
TV roles have included Oliver Meehan in ‘Silent Witness’, Raider in 'Silo’ and the ITVX series ‘Redeye’ where Chris played MI5 Agent ‘Jenkins’ alongside Richard Armitage and Lesley Sharp.
Chris has just finished filming on the Netflix crime drama ‘Legends’ and 2025 will see the release of the animated feature of Roald Dahls ‘The Twits’ on the same platform, where Chris will be voicing one of the characters.
